A Noble Visionary

Shaping Futures Through Compassion

Shri Bhagaban Dev was born in the quiet village of Nuapali, Kansingha, in the Bargarh district of Odisha. From his earliest years, his heart was moved by the silent struggles of poor and underprivileged children. Watching their longing for education awaken hopes never fulfilled, a lifelong dream took root within him—to ensure that no child is denied the light of learning because of poverty.

Guided by this noble vision, he, along with the revered spiritual master Swami Muniswaranand Saraswati, jointly founded the Navaprabhat Public Charitable Trust in the year 2000. Their union of spiritual wisdom and social purpose laid a strong and sacred foundation for a mission dedicated to education, values, and selfless service.

In 2011, under his compassionate leadership, the Trust took a powerful step forward by giving special focus to the education of girl students—lighting the path of confidence, dignity, and independence for the daughters of society.

Life's Purpose: Service to Humanity

His life’s purpose is simple yet profound: to serve humanity through education. Firm in his belief that service to mankind is service to God, Shri Bhagaban Dev continues to guide the Trust with humility in his heart, faith in his actions, and an unwavering commitment to transforming lives through the power of learning.

"Like a silent river flowing with purpose, Shri Bhagaban Dev walks the path of service with humility in his steps and light in his vision. From a small village to a great mission, his life sings the story of hope for the hopeless and learning for the forgotten. In the smile of every child he educates, in the confidence of every girl he empowers, his dream continues to breathe. He asks for no reward except the joy of giving, believing that true wealth is found not in what we gather, but in what we uplift. Through quiet sacrifice and unwavering faith, he turns compassion into action and service into a sacred offering."
